Gerry Tobin Farrell at Gerry Farrell Leather & Wood
Gerry Farrell has over 35 years of experience in the skilled field of woodwork and woodcraft. As the proprietor of the Blackberry Lodge Craft Centre, aside from his exquisite woodworking skills, Gerry is a keen crafter in other media particularly leatherwork and rush weaving. He likes to merge his love of the outdoors, survival skills and crafting and thus is noted for his walking sticks, leather bags and pouches and survival bracelets. He also produces a beautiful ‘home and hobby’ range including hobby caddies, tool caddies, meditation stools, herb tree, briquette / log holders, craft beer caddies, wine racks, range of kitchenalia, raised bed / planters, rocking llamas, BBQ boards and the quirky stitching pony. A key part of Gerry’s mission for the Blackberry Lodge Craft Centre is to increase accessibility of creativity and crafting, both traditional and modern to all.
His son Neal is carrying on the family tradition and both are qualified woodworkers in Gerry Farrell Joinery. They deliver a general and off standard bespoke joinery service including doors, high performance windows, screens, mouldings, skirtings and all one off woodwork projects. They also cater for woodwork classes, project preparation for workshops and courses and their work includes listed buildings and historical sites.
